About the Place
Welcome to Parm Battery Park City, a delightful culinary oasis nestled in the heart of Battery Park. This Italian eatery blends comfort and sophistication, offering a menu that is as inviting as its atmosphere. Whether you’re seeking a hearty meal after a long workday or a cozy spot for a date night, Parm delivers with its warm ambiance and attentive service.
You’ll find the seasoned favorites here, but they truly excel with their Spicy Rigatoni, often lauded as one of the best in town. Its creamy, flavorful sauce envelops rigatoni in a luxurious embrace, making it a must-try for any pasta lover. The Chicken Parm, while nice, may not reach the heights of the city’s finest, but it delivers a comforting bite nonetheless. Patrons rave about the perfectly executed fried zucchini and the signature garlic bread, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience.
The restaurant exudes a chic yet welcoming vibe, complemented by attentive staff who enhance your experience with their recommendations and hospitality. On busy days, like the one before the New York Marathon, it may feel bustling, yet the remarkable service can save the day—like the charming Peter, who ensures diners feel well-cared-for even during the most hectic hours.
Don't overlook their happy hour, a local favorite that features an impressive lineup of drink and food options—perfect for unwinding with colleagues or friends after work. Enjoying a meal here also comes with the added benefit of prime people-watching, especially during festive evenings when the area comes alive.
So whether it’s indulging in comforting Italian classics or enjoying a vibrant atmosphere, Parm Battery Park City invites you to gather around the table and enjoy. With its rich flavors, attentive service, and inviting environment, it’s more than just a meal—it’s an experience worth savoring.
“ The spicy rigatoni lives up to the hype, and the chicken parm is better than average though not spectacular. While its not the best in the city, the nice atmosphere and large seating area makes it a great stop. Our server took a long time to bring us the check, so we sort of had to chase him down. Other than that i like the interior decor and convenient location. ”
“ Amazing restaurant, went to San Gennaro on 9/13 and was highly disappointed with the restaurant we chose. That’s when we searched for another restaurant and luckily found you folks. Walking in was very inviting and the restaurant was very clean, immediately greeted and sat at a table of our choice not where the hostess decided which I love as I’m selective about where I sit. Food, service, presentation was 10+, highly impressed with the quality and plate presentation!!! Your meatballs and fresh pasta are right on!!! Had the pleasure of meeting your manager Jose, he was a perfect gentleman and so engaging- great food, great people and a beautiful clean restaurant made our day!!! Fast forward to 9/20, my wife and I had to go back- mind you we live in Eastern Long Island and the drive is approximately 90 minutes + depending on traffic but that’s how wowed we are with this restaurant. Jose again was amazing, remembered us right away and gave unbelievable hospitality!!! I can’t thank this team enough for everything they do and the attention to serving high quality food. If this review lands in the hands of ownership I would highly consider exploring expansion into the Long Island market, restaurants here are thriving more than ever and your concept would fit in perfectly especially in the right demographic. Jose- thanks for everything and we will be back soon!!!!! ”
“ The Spicy Rigatoni at Parm is one of the best I've had. It's super creamy, flavorful and rich They have some nice appetizers too, in the form of fried zucchini and their famour garlic bread This is my second time visiting Parm after 2 years, at a different location, and the taste is still the same! Absolutely recommend and definitely a must try ”
“ cold rainy day calls for warm delicious italian food ! great wine selection and friendly staff. nice atmosphere as well, i enjoyed people watching about was during the holiday season so we saw couple office parties that evening. great location as well. ”
“ We went a day before the marathon which probably wasn't the best idea even though we had a reservation. It was incredibly busy and chaotic. They were also short staffed. However, once we were seated, we had the ever so lovely and charming Peter who was a sweetheart! He looked after us, gave recommendations and was attentive. If it wasn't for him, it may have been a disaster The spicy rigatoni is that girl, packing flavour, a good portion and reasonable price point A good sister branch if you can't get to the main Carbone. ”
